Tech expert Marian Sánchez: "You use WhatsApp every day, and no one told you you can do this."
There are very few apps, if any, that we use more than WhatsApp. The messaging platform owned by Meta has become the fastest and easiest way to communicate with both loved ones and strangers.
For this reason, we use WhatsApp every day, all day long, but as Marian Sánchez, a technology expert and educator, points out, the app still has many features that most users aren't aware of. Among them, this time she's shown off tricks for writing differently and even changing the fonts in your messages.
"You use WhatsApp every day, and no one has told you that you can change the font in your messages like this," Sánchez explains in his video, before going on to show a series of commands that will change how you write on WhatsApp. If you're organized, you'll definitely find them hard to stop using.
How to change WhatsApp fontsShade the letters
The first trick that Sánchez presents is to shade the letters in your chats, this is as simple as writing an inverted tilde (`) at both the beginning and end of the message , so that it appears shaded.
Bold letters

Cursive letters
There is also the option to write in italics, and what you have to do to do this is write an underscore (_) before and after the text you want to write in italics.
Cross out a message
You can also send a message with a word or phrase crossed out by typing a tilde (~) before and after the desired text . Something like,
Make lists
Here you have two options for organizing: the first is to type a dash followed by a space (- ) , which will create a bullet point perfect for making lists. You can also make it numerical by starting a line with a number followed by a period and a space (1. ).
